Mission Statement

I’ve learned a lot of lessons over the years about how to treat clients. Dealing with a legal issue can be frightening, confusing, and extremely frustrating. Having an attorney who doesn’t effectively communicate with the client can make the experience even worse. As a paralegal I saw a lot of clients who just went along with what the attorney told them even if the client really didn’t understand what was going on. My goal as an attorney is to take the time with each client to make sure that they fully understand what is happening and to help them make fully informed decisions; decisions with which they are comfortable.

One of the complaints that I heard the most while working as a paralegal was that the client felt like their attorney didn’t communicate with them enough. I take the time to stay in touch with each of my clients even when there is nothing going on in their case. Whether I’m in my car or waiting for a court hearing, I use my free time to communicate with my clients. Even during the evening, when my clients are at home and probably thinking about their case, I will be more than happy to talk to them and answer their questions. A client’s concerns for their case don’t stop at 5:00 p.m. I’m usually on call at all times for my clients. However, I am human and I do have a family, so there are some limitations, but overall I am very accessible.
